Composers and Publishers of Original Music for the Teaching Environment

Meet the musical family behind Music House String Publications:

Keith Sharp
Keith has been a string educator in The Gap regional schools of Brisbane, Australia, since 1985. His teaching is ensemble and group-based. Keith enjoys writing imaginative and appealing pieces for string students. Many of these pieces are now being rehearsed and performed by young players around the world. Keith holds a Bachelor of Music Degree and a Graduate Diploma of Further Education. He appears on a regular basis at schools, camps, workshops and tertiary institutions as a clinician, teacher and guest lecturer.

Natalie Sharp
Natalie gained a Bachelor of Music (Performance) in 1988 and has since enjoyed establishing a thriving private studio, freelance orchestral and chamber music performance and coordinating a string program at a large private school.
Caroline Mager
Caroline is Keith's sister. She has a business background and has recently taken over the marketing of Music House so that Keith and Natalie can focus on writing and producing new material.
Rosanna Sharp
Rosanna is fourteen years old and is, for want of a better word, one of our special music "Guinea pigs". She and fellow string students regularly trial the early models of new pieces. Rosanna can always be depended upon to give her honest opinion. Her feedback often helps to further 'hone' our music for it's intended audience. Rosanna has achieved A. Mus and ATCL diplomas with the AMEB and Trinity College respectively. She hopes to study music when she finishes High School.
